Day 1 Arrival in Lhasa

Welcome to the Roof of the World — Tibet! Your Everest pilgrimage tour officially begins in the holy city of Lhasa. Upon your arrival on the plateau, please take things slowly and immerse yourself in the purity and solemn beauty of this sacred destination.
Arrival Tips: Please keep warm immediately after landing and head to our company office to complete all riding-related procedures, verify your riding qualifications, collect your riding equipment and itinerary manual, and attend the riding safety briefing, where important precautions for plateau riding will be explained. Full-process oxygen support is available throughout the journey, and portable oxygen equipment can be used whenever needed.

Day 02-03 Lhasa City Tour/Document Processing


Enjoy a full day for altitude acclimatization and city sightseeing, including visits to the Potala Palace and Jokhang Temple. All riding permits and entry procedures for Tibet and the Everest region will be processed collectively. Driver’s license verification and insurance arrangements will also be handled during this time.
Round-the-clock oxygen support is provided throughout the journey to help you adapt comfortably and efficiently to the high-altitude environment.

Day 04 Lhasa -Shigatse

Set off after breakfast toward Shigatse, the key city of southern Tibet, as you begin your first day of riding. Full-process oxygen support accompanies you throughout the journey to help you adapt comfortably to the plateau environment.
Core Itinerary:
a. Cross the Gangbala Mountain Pass at an altitude of 4,990 meters and visit Yamdrok Lake (4,400 m above sea level), one of the three great sacred lakes of Tibet. Its ribbon-like shoreline winds through the mountains, displaying rich jade-colored waters under the sunlight. When the breeze blows, sparkling waves create a breathtaking visual experience. Your guide will also share the legends and cultural significance of this sacred lake.
b. Continue to the Karola Glacier for a close-up view of this magnificent roadside glacier, surrounded by towering mountains and deep blue ice formations. This location is also famous as a filming site for the classic movie Red River Valley.
c. Pass by the Manla Reservoir and Gyantse, known as the “Hero City,” before finally arriving in Shigatse.

Day 05 Shigatse -Tingri

Set off early in the morning and begin the day with a visit to Tashilhunpo Monastery under the soft morning sunlight. As the golden light shines upon the monastery’s golden rooftops, the atmosphere feels both solemn and sacred. The name of the monastery means “Auspicious Sumeru Monastery.” It is the largest monastery in the Shigatse region, one of the four great monasteries of the Gelug Sect of Tibetan Buddhism, and the traditional seat of successive Panchen Lamas.
Our multilingual guides, fluent in Chinese, English, and Tibetan, will provide in-depth explanations of the monastery’s history, Tibetan Buddhist culture, and architectural significance, allowing you to fully appreciate its profound cultural heritage. After the visit, we officially begin the ride, passing through Lhatse, where scattered Tibetan villages and rolling highland barley fields line the route. I.Riding Qualification &Insurance Requirements
Qualifications:Riders must be 18+years old,hold a valid motorcycle license recognized by the PRC,and possess over two years of experience with large-displacement motorcycles.
Safety Gear:A 3C-certified safety helmet is mandatory.We strongly recommend wearing a full set of professional riding suits, pants,and protective gear.
Insurance:For your safety,you must purchase personal accident insurance (for both rider and passenger,if applicable)and corresponding vehicle insurance for the rental period.
Liability:In case of vehicle damage,the customer’s maximum liability is limited to the deductible specified in the contract;any amount exceeding this will be covered by our company or the insurer.
II.Required Riding Equipment
Mandatory (3C Certified):Full-face helmet,riding suit with built-in armor, riding pants,boots,and gloves.
Recommended:Professional rain gear,balaclava,quick-drying underwear, hydration bladder(camel bag),warm high-top socks,polarized sunglasses, SPF50+ sunscreen,sun hat,personal medicines,and an emergency contact card.
Ⅲ.Notes on Altitude Sickness
Acclimatization:Lhasa (3,650m)has lower oxygen levels.Most visitors experience varying degrees of altitude sickness (headache,insomnia,etc.).
Please avoid strenuous exercise and stay warm to prevent colds; symp- toms usually subside within 2-3 days.
Health Restrictions:Individuals with underlying conditions such as severe heart disease,lung disease,or hypertension are advised not to participate in high-altitude riding activities.
