Travel Tips

Finally, no matter if you’re looking for a motorbike rental in Chennai or anywhere else in India, these handy tips will help you out.

The weather can vary greatly dependent on the time of year and the region you travel to so make sure you know what to expect and pack accordingly.

Consider bringing your own riding equipment such as a jacket and helmet if you’re a regular rider. You can purchase these from bike shops and some rental companies will include or rent you such equipment. Although you see many locals riding without a helmet, it is the law to wear one. So best not to get caught out.

Make sure when you pick up your rental you get all the motorbikes paperwork with you when you leave. This includes a copy of insurance documentation, ownership papers, rental agreement and, some places need a pollution control certificate.
